Amber Pearce

I’ve always been a sporty and active person with a huge passion for exercise and wellness. In 2017 I Graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science. During my time at University, I developed an injury which is when I was first introduced to Sports Massage therapy. After graduating, I chose to study my Level 3 & 4 Sports Massage Qualification and started my own business shortly after, initially working it around other part-time roles and then eventually I became fully self-employed.

Having worked with my clients, I soon realised that there was so much more to massage than just trying to ‘fix’ people. People loved coming to relax, unwind and support their own physical and mental well-being. I then decided that I wanted to branch out into more therapeutic/relaxing treatments alongside my sports massage.

My journey with Gateway began with me attending a pregnancy massage course and since then my thirst for expanding my knowledge and repertoire has continued.

The atmosphere created at Gateway was calm, nurturing and supportive; and one which I was keen to be involved with myself. I loved the thought of passing on and sharing my knowledge and experience with others, allowing them to carve their own journeys with massage therapy and give them what it’s given me over the past 6 years. 

I love my job as a massage therapist and trainer, you never stop learning and growing and the feeling of making someone else feel good is just priceless. Being able to share this with others is so rewarding and I feel incredibly grateful to enjoy the job I do every day. I strive to treat everyone with warmth and respect and encourage them to be the best therapist they can be.
