Having always been involved in physical activity throughout my younger life, I naturally progressed into becoming a fitness instructor as an adult. I loved the effect that exercise had on myself, both mentally and physically. I also noticed a huge benefit to others who joined me. A back injury led me down the route of further studies to enable me to still be involved in physical activity but without putting additional strain on my body.

I gained a BSc in Exercise, Nutrition and Health, an MSc in Sports therapies and a PGCE in Education and Training. I have since been working in private practice, treating sports injuries and using holistic therapies for relaxation and wellness. I have lectured in further education and continue to teach group fitness and rehabilitation classes.

Since qualifying I have undertaken numerous professional courses to add to my toolbox as a therapist, and I really value the benefit that the different modalities have on my clients. I feel that we should treat the whole being and not just the physical/ visible element, this is why as a Sports Therapist I use treatments to heal and relax the mind and spirit as well as the body.

I am hugely passionate about the benefits of massage and complementary therapies and I feel that mind, body and spirit can be positively influenced with therapies and physical activity. I have seen the benefits for my clients and I want to empower more therapists to help their clients to experience the benefits of holistic therapy treatments and develop careers where they can benefit themselves whilst helping others.

My aim is to share my knowledge and experience with others so that we can help more people whilst building a business that we love.
