Situated in the picturesque village of Staintondale, this former Methodist Chapel has been converted into a holistic therapy studio and school. With sea views and surrounded by the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, our Staintondale venue has a ‘get away from it all’ feel.

The building is welcoming and comfortable with a real sense of peace, the perfect location for a day’s training.

We offer our massage, beauty and spiritual courses at this venue, if you cannot find a suitable date, we also have venues in Manchester and Lancashire as well as others across England, Scotland and Ireland.

Hot drinks are provided for you, so you will just need to bring your own lunch (there are no options for getting lunch locally).

Staintondale lies between the East Coast towns of Scarborough and Whitby. There is a bus service from Scarborough, though this is limited on a Sunday. The closest bus stop is a 45 minute walk away or taxis available from the railway station.

How to find us by road

Coming from the North
Whitby, Teeside) Follow the A171 Whitby to Scarborough road. Exit the A171 at the Staintondale/Ravenscar turn off (by the Falcon Inn). Turn left after the Falcon and follow this country road to a T-junction. Turn right at the junction and this will take you into the village of Staintondale, the chapel is on the right (after the church).

The closest bus stop is a 45 minute walk away or taxis available from the railway station.

Coming from the South or West
(Hull, York, Scarborough) Follow the A171 towards Whitby. Go through the villages of Burniston and Cloughton. As you drive through Cloughton and approach a bend in the road to the left take a right turn signed for Staintondale. Follow this road all the way into the village until you see the chapel on the left. There is a carpark by the far side of the building.

The reason why we do not give out the full address of the venue is because in the past sometimes students have turned up on the day hoping to join a class which is not possible. A deposit payment has to be taken first to secure your booking & wasted journeys are now avoided by us giving out full address details after a booking has been taken!

When you book online, after your deposit payment has been taken you will receive an email from our web site with a link giving you all the course tutor and venue details. You are able to print out the venue address or make a note for your reference. For those paying over the web site, you will be sent the full address of the venue and directions after your booking & your deposit has been taken. The tutor will be in touch with all the information you will need.

We do however include a link to Google maps so you can easily see where the venue is located, you are secure in the knowledge we book 200 - 300 students each week on our courses for many many years and you are in good hands. The tutor once you book will give you all the details you need so you can easily find the venue, full directions and they are also on hand if you have any other questions before your course start date.
